  • okie, i've revised my strategy .

    i wanted to go with a canon or samsung (i found one of each for under 200), because those are the only brands i'm familiar with ... but is there a better brand for camcorders ?  or does it not matter considering my budget ?

    my technologically adverse ass needs some help from you computer savvy, gadget junkie people out there !!!!

    i'm trying to purchase a camcorder for a member of la familia who just had a baby .  i want to go as cheap as possible, but i obviously also don't want to purchase a piece of crap .  my head is already spinning from all these crazy websites and camcorder specs and blah blah blah .  seriously, i have a migraine .

  • you should try cnet.com and look up all the models..

  • all the specs for these cameras are pretty much the same (not like anyone other than pros would notice the diff). i say find the camcorder that has the cheapest rechargable batteries (EBAY batteries). camcorders burn thru batteries like crazy so you're better off just getting a camera with 2 or 3 extra batteries.

  • If I'm mean person #2 and Albert is mean person #1 and Dave is mean person #3, then you are mean person #4 because you know you think just like us. It's all good.
